Eberhard & Co | Wopart

Wopart, the Work on Paper Fair, is a meeting point for the world of art on paper in Lugano. It was held from November 18th to 21st in its customary form, after an enforced interruption in 2020 that led the organisers to propose a “virtual” version so as not to frustrate lovers of this fascinating form of artistic creation.

Wopart is traditionally an eagerly-awaited event, as it has earned great respect among art lovers, thanks to the participation of high-quality exhibitors who know how to select the best from among the big names and fully satisfy the strong promises and proposals made.

Visitors are well aware of this and therefore travelled from all over the world, generating a great deal of activity and business, which are essential elements for the success of this type of exhibition. Eberhard & Co and Mersmann Watchmakers have supported the event since its inception.

During this edition dedicated to the memory of the mayor of Lugano Marco Borradori, visitors were once again able to enjoy the “Eberhard & Co-Mersmann VIP Lounge”, a special area where it was possible to linger and relax among an exquisite collection of artistic and watchmaking masterpieces. The watchmaking part of the exhibition was entirely dedicated to the emblematic chronograph of the company based in La Chaux-de-Fonds: the Chrono 4, in its new 21-42 version celebrating the 20th anniversary of its creation.
